The other pandemic
Did you know there’s a whole other pandemic within this pandemic? Would you believe me if I told you it was the work stress?
Well, believe me or not –or maybe actually being interested on these products because of it–, a few years ago, when COVID-19 wasn’t present as it is today, a new concept had been added to some of the medical glossary: BurnOut, this concept makes reference to the work stress millions of people suffer from everyday. However, when the most famous pandemic arrived, and all the businesses had to adapt to a new way of living, the home office became common and the only chance for many to continue earning money “with the comfort of their homes”, turning this sacred place into a laboral space which wasn’t design for that, and turning the whole peaceful energy of the place into an stressful one.
When all of that happens, the statistics of BurnOut increase to a whole nother level, this might sound as a banal problem, but this phenomenon is one of the principal causes of depression, and depression
itself, one of the most important causes of suicide and deth in the whole world. This is why we need to take care of these kinds of symptoms, to avoid 250,000 deaths every year.
Taking this into account, there are some things we can do to help our immune system and daily stress, start trying new things, take vitamins that help you elevate your defenses, try some herbal supplements that help you relaxing and start practicing leisure activities such as reading, walkin around your neighbourhood, hanging out with friends or even listening to music alone. Remember everything we do for ourselves and our mental stability projects in our body.
